🚧 On the Job in Texas City! 🚧
We recently tackled a commercial plumbing project where the customer had a 3/4” PVC water line running along the top of a concrete slab. The city required a backflow preventer for the building, but to install it properly, we had to make some adjustments. Our solution? We used the dogleg method to reroute the pipe, elevating it and moving it away from the wall for compliance. To ensure everything was secure, we installed ceiling flanges to suspend two pieces of Unistrut and used Unistrut clamps to secure the backflow preventer, preventing any movement. Another job done right by Buddy’s Plumbing—because when the city calls, we’ve got your back(flow)! 💪
